The Mystery Inc. gang travels to the Mega Mondo Pop Comic Con-A-Palooza in San De Pedro, California. Shaggy and Scooby are excited to enter a costume contest as Blue Falcon and Dynomutt and meet the original Blue Falcon actor, Owen Garrison. However, the convention is thrown into chaos when Mr. Hyde, a villain from the original Blue Falcon TV series, begins terrorizing guests with monster bats and "ghoulish green goo" to stop the premiere of a new, darker Blue Falcon movie.
