The grandson of Jean I, he continued the family tradition in the Asté workshop until approximately 1755. He specialized in Baroque church furniture throughout the Hautes-Pyrénées . Born in Troubat, he established a workshop in Asté in 1647. He is celebrated for creating monumental Baroque altarpieces ( retables ) and tabernacles, often compared to the work of Pierre Affre. His style combined gilded wood architecture with expressive, sometimes "naive" religious figures. Notable works include the altarpieces at the Church of Notre-Dame de Garaison and the Church of Saint-Saturnin in Pouzac . Contemporary Figures Born in Troubat, he established a
