To keep the project from becoming repetitive, divide your 50 drawings into five distinct "Levels" of difficulty and focus. Level 1: Fundamentals (1–10) Focus on simple shapes, lines, and observation. Your own hand in different poses. A pair of worn-out shoes. Fresh fruit (focus on texture). A kitchen utensil with reflective surfaces. A simple houseplant or leaf. A stack of books with different thicknesses. A glass of water (focus on transparency). A piece of crumpled paper (focus on shadows). Your morning coffee or breakfast. A "blind contour" drawing (don't look at the paper). Level 2: Anatomy & Portraits (11–20) Don't skip more than two days in a row
